In March 1962, Chester Zoo News became Chester Zoo News and Guide, having a map of the Zoo as its centerfold. It was a 16 page, A4 publication, excluding the covers. The cover's photograph remained monochrome, with the title in a coloured panel that changed from issue to issue.
