Z Magazine was very similar to the later editions of Zoo Life, from which it morphed. There was a greater pictorial element; full page photographs were featured regularly and the text content was reduced. As with Zoo Life, there was an introductory column by the Director/CEO and pages for junior members. By the end of 2015 members and adopters were offered an electronic version of the newsletter. The final printed version of Z Magazine was published in autumn 2022, the cover of which was a montage of newsletters that preceded it.
From 2022, Our Zoo was only available in digital format. Along with zoo news stories, Our Zoo also contains videos and sound bites of different animals.
